The Challenge
A New ERP, ASAP
Following a major acquisition, the company was operating on outdated, manual systems that couldn’t support growth. Disconnected processes and siloed data created inefficiencies and strained a small, already overextended workforce.
To address this problem, the organization planned to launch its first enterprise resource planning (ERP) system—without any experience in managing change at scale. With limited structure, no OCM team, and an aggressive timeline, the company needed more than just support; it needed a full change enablement engine.
The Solution
Tailored, End-to-End OCM
We built an end-to-end change management framework tailored to the company’s pragmatic culture and ambitious goals, which included:
- A comprehensive communications plan aligned with key milestones and stakeholder needs
- Stakeholder engagement embedded directly in the project team to surface concerns early and build buy-in across departments
- A blended training program led by superusers and change champions, and reinforced by tailored reference materials
- A central SharePoint hub to house and manage communications, FAQs, and evolving how-to guides
- Continuous feedback to monitor adoption and refine support based on real-time input
We also stepped in to lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, closing key gaps in the system and reinforcing our role as a strategic partner in project delivery.
The Results
A Sustainable Change Ecosystem
Our integrated approach transformed a complex ERP implementation into a catalyst for growth by balancing the client’s pragmatic culture with innovative change practices. Employees responded by enthusiastically mapping new operational processes, using the SharePoint hub, and rapidly adopting the ERP software. This resulted in a sustainable change ecosystem that established new standards of quality for enterprise initiatives and turned technical change into lasting organizational value.
